THE INNATE IMMUNE SYSTEM – AN ANIMAL’S FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE

The Innate Immune System is an animal’s first line of defense against foreign intruders like parasites, bacteria, viruses, yeast, fungus, molds, and other disease-causing agents. These primary defense cells require an optimum level of protein along with certain vitamins and minerals such as vitamins A, C, E, and B, as well as the minerals copper, zinc, manganese, and iron to function properly.

When the innate immune system is functioning properly, it recognizes foreign intruders and dispatches ‘killer’ T-cells to destroy them. Other members of the innate immune system team that assist in this process include macrophages and neutrophils, which engulf, digest, kill, and remove the intruders.

Everyday pets are taken to see a veterinarian for skin conditions, allergies, infections, autoimmune diseases and more. Immune Support has proven to be useful in keeping the vet bills at a minimum.

For Kittens

The “Immunity Gap” occurs in kittens between the ages of 8-12 weeks. During this period, kittens are most vulnerable to all infectious organisms as their maternal antibodies are rapidly decreasing and their acquired immunity has just begun to develop. Throughout their relatively short growth period, kittens can be exposed to many things, requiring the innate immune system to act fast and protect them from sickness and disease. Feline Immune Support is just the product you need as it provides the immune enhancing ingredients required to strengthen their innate immune system and keep them safe from harm.

For Adult Cats

Cats seem especially susceptible to upper respiratory disease. Chronic infections can wear down their immune system. Feline Immune Support works to enhance your cat’s innate immune system, its first line of defense against disease causing organisms. When your cat’s system is under attack you can count on Immune Support to come to the rescue.

For Senior Cats

For senior cats’ overall immunity gradually diminishes over time, making senior cats them susceptible to various infectious diseases. Enhancing the innate immune system can help seniors compensate for the decrease in their overall immune capability. The innate immune system can seek out and destroy invading pathogenic organisms before they have a chance to develop into infectious disease.

Please Mind the Gap: Understanding the Immunity Gap

At birth, puppies and kittens only have partially functioning immune systems, which makes them more vulnerable to diseases as they are unable to protect themselves. To help protect them from dangerous diseases, maternal immunity is bestowed on the puppy or kitten in its mother’s “first milk”.

The Importance of Colostrum for Dogs & Cats

An animal’s immune system is one of the most important factors in achieving and maintaining health throughout life. The immune system is made up of multiple components including lymph nodes, thymus, various blood cells, and special organs found throughout the body like the lungs and gut.

When the vet ordered immune support powder that went out of stock on all websites and the vet’s office, I tried this. My cat has severe nasal allergies and gets frequent sinus infections. This seems to work better for her. Even though the sinus issues are still there, she hasn’t had as much drainage and no infection.

  2. Damion

I’m not sure if it was a coincidence but my cat wasn’t looking so well until I started giving him this. Very grateful.

  3. Kat

I have the pickiest cats in the world and as soon as I put this in the food that they were hardly eating they ate it all up right away, it seems to be helping with their itching and their fur is so soft and hardly shedding like before, I recommend this product, it smells good.

  4. Fritz

This helped my Persian kitten’s congestion. Antibiotics did not work as well as Imuquin which is expensive. I mixed it with water and used a syringe. They love it!

At first, my cat wanted nothing to do with this powder on his wet food, even when mixed up. So, I started to sprinkle just a little on top; it took around a week of this, and now I can put the full dosage sprinkled on his wet food and he loves it. I even sprinkle a little on the free-feeding dry food he nibbles on. He had been throwing up most of his food before getting this, and now he rarely throws up and is doing so much better. He’s 18 years old and is quite active now for his age.

  6. Rachel

So far my cats are eating this fine. They don’t notice it on dry or wet food. They seem a bit more energetic, but as far as health benefits, it’s not been long enough. I have cats with FHV and stomatitis, so I’m hoping it helps.

  7. J.D.

Arrived in a timely manner and seems to be helping my elderly cat.

My finicky little 8 year old princess snubs her nose at EVERYTHING! But NOT Dr. Bill’s Feline Immune Support. I add a drop or two of bottled water to the powder and blend with her food making a “gravy”. She loves it! Kitten like behavior- playful, active, happy and has a tremendously silky coat. Her once weepy eye is clear and bright. Highly recommend all of Dr. Bill’s high quality products. Will definitely purchase again. Thank you!!!

  12. Amazon Customer

I have a senior cat, Svetlana, who’s in good health, although she has a skin condition that oozes a clear fluid stained with what I assume is blood. In warm weather she likes to sleep on the edge of the bathtub, and when she’d get up there would be a nasty, gunky mess left behind. I took her to the vet who prescribed antibiotics, but they didn’t do a thing – I assumed it was something she’d just have to live with. She didn’t seem to have any discomfort, although I hated to pick her up because she felt, well…icky.

  13. Brandit

My cat Enoch was diagnosed with FIV 12 years ago. This stuff, along with Lysine, calcium and vitamin b has really helped strengthen his immune system. I mix a little bit of this with his soft cat food and he enthusiastically gobbles it up! Highly recommended!

We have a Persian who has been sick on and off since she was a kitten. Her latest was a trip to the vet with fever breathing issues and 900 dollars later we had our baby back. A month after this she was sick again acting the same as before. Not eating, fever etc. I remembered I bought this and began giving it to her and giving water and food via syringe. Within days she was getting better. I have to attribute her wellness to this product. She is still doing well with this product. I love that she is feeling better. If you have a sick kitty I would recommend this product. I mix it with a little water and syringe it in her mouth. She acts like she knows it helps her. Doesn’t fight it much at all.

  15. Alicia B

One of my cats has FIV and this supplement helps keep his immune system strong. I just sprinkle some on his soft food and he eats it with no problem. I also give him lysine, calcium and Vetri-dmg and he is asymptomatic, even though he has had FIV for 10 y
